I have never written a letter of recommendation before, but truly felt compelled to after the outstanding and personal service we received on our CIPP re-lining sewer repair. My husband and I were given an estimate of between $25,000-$45,000 to dig and replace our 60 year old sewer line by a well-known local contractor. We just about passed out! Talk about money going down the drain! Our sewer had problems that included major roots and backups, a belly 10 feet under our driveway extending into the street plus complications that included an old oil tank, a telephone pole, varying sized pipe, as well as multiple bends. We had even taken out a home equity loan to prepare for the dreaded inevitable. A contractor friend suggested we just wait until it "blew up". Needless to say, this was quite anxiety producing as our bedroom and living quarters are in the basement. Shortly afterwards, I saw your truck advertising, "Why dig? Simply Re-Line", and the rest is history. My husband and I, as well as family and friends, were so impressed with the care, kindness, enthusiasm, warmth, respect, genuine concern, intelligence, and professionalism of each person we encountered. We find it striking that every person that came over to our home during the time APS was working made positive comments on the quality of your employees. The whole process was a wonderful experience! We appreciated being able to ask questions at every point and receive detailed and clear information given in an open and friendly manner,(even to a 3 year old), sprinkled with a delightful sense of humor. Our now 4 year old still talks about the "chicken balloons" that APS employees made for her. We did have a few unforeseeable complications, which we were promptly informed of and were creatively, expertly and professionally resolved. They even assisted a neighbor in obtaining some information on their sewer that had been extensively and expensively repaired using traditional digging techniques, (their yard and garden still show signs). APS even found a buried manhole not on the city's map during the process. We learned that maps often do not reflect reality and the importance of hiring a company that is highly skilled in locating is critical to obtain an accurate estimate and preparing the best plan regarding repairs. How amazing in our day to work with a company whose members are not only expertly trained, but truly knowledgeable and capable problem solvers and really care about what they are doing!
